Banana Bread with Raw Honey
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup almond flour (optional; you can sub all-purpose)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional, you can omit)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- heavy dash of nutmeg
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature
- 3/4 cup HONEY
- 2 eggs at room temperature
- 4 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup milk or half n half
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
*This recipe would work best in a bunt pan. A 9x5 loaf pan can overflow.
**The honey will create a delicious crystalized crust on the bread. Because the sugars in honey can burn, do not overcook.

- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until the center is done.
- Remove the bread from the pan and cool on a wire rack.
